The little town of Kaimkillenbun, has the longest single place name in Queensland and is known to the locals simply as 'The Bun'. Kaimkillenbun's closest major town is Dalby (24 kilometres to the south west) and it is a great place to stop in when driving to the Bunya Mountains. Kaimkillenbun was the setting for the movie 'Chase Through the Night' which starred Nicole Kidman. It is also the birthplace of Olympic basketballer John Dorge.
